*Spoilers* Captain America Civil War *Spoilers*

So I think most who want to see the movie have seen it by now but spoiler tag just in case.
So do you think that at the end of the latest Captain America movie Tony was basically kicked out of the Avengers by Cap? He makes it pretty clear that if you need *us * (meaning the avengers with Tony on the outside) he can call. So although it was a conciliatory breakup message it seems to me it is saying that he’s out of the band.

Other than Vision who was always Tony’s bot and possibly Spider-Man it seems that nobody is left on team Tony at the end.

I got the impression that Cap’s half of the team are currently fugitives but willing to help out should Tony be able to fix their predicament or otherwise have some sort of emergency.

The Avengers have always been more a collection of individuals than a team (even if they have learned to work together very well), and the only thing that keeps such disparate personalities together is the presence of the greatest military leader of the century inspiring all of them.

That said, if there’s a true globe-threatening event, Rogers will probably still call in all the help he can get, and most of them will probably still answer that call.

It’s very true that Cap has more people on his team should he need them than Tony does. The only ones who sided 100% with Tony by the end were Vision and War Machine.

Cap just helped a bunch of prisoners escape. He is NOT on the “good side” as far as the government goes, which means he is NOT part of the Avengers team. After all, the Avengers are now under control of the (world) government) as a result of the Accords. So no, Tony was not kicked out. Cap was kicked out.

But as Jackdavinci says , Cap is ready to show up with his bunch of outlaws if the need ever arises.

Tony has Vision, a semi-cripled War Machine and Underoos aka Spider-man.
But Cap’s team isn’t that much bigger. Hawkeye, Ant-man, Falcon, Wanda.
Black Widow, while a sympathizer, isn’t part of his team. But she’ll show up regardless.

That’s all he needs. A wink, a blink and a wiggle of the nose and reality goes away. Who needs anything else?

Hulk and Thor are still around. I’d assume Hulk is fonder of Cap. Not sure which way Thor would swing. Black Panther seems chummy with Cap too.

You mean in the movie-verse right? Because that is not at all how the Avengers have been portrayed in the comics.

They’re all going to miss the Tony Stark funded clubhouse when they’re sitting around a card table in Captain America’s basement.

After the airport scene Tony makes it clear she’s persona non grata with the government folks after letting cap go. Also don’t forget Black Panther and Bucky are on Caps team.

The fact of the matter is Captain America is a much better people person than Tony is. Tony has money but people are willing to fight for Steve Rodgers. Even Tony’s own father liked Cap better than Tony.

Even Tony likes Cap better than Tony!

Banner seems to be the person who gets along best with Tony, so I’d expect Hulk to be on Tony’s team; Thor seems more likely to respect Cap, though.

Tony can manipulate Banner into doing things, but Hulk doesn’t like being manipulated and Cap is the one who said “Hulk smash.” Hulk likes that. Hulk is a fairly good judge of character. Plus I don’t think Hulk likes Tony’s Hulk buster armor.

Thor’s first experience with the government wasn’t that friendly, and I can’t imagine the son of Odin, prince of Asgard and God of Thunder agreeing to a human government having any authority over him.

STEVE ROGERS: “Word is, you can find the Cube.”
BRUCE BANNER: “Is that the only word on me?”
STEVE ROGERS: “Only word I care about.”

Banner might not like how Tony manipulated him to help make ultron.

Thor’s not likely to forget that Cap, while not able to lift Mjolnir, did move it a little.

Add to Cap’s side, possibly, the Wasp. I read someone on TV Tropes suggest that she might have helped break Team Cap out.
