Another pillow or thicker pillow under her head, and put your arm through the gap between her shoulder and the pillow?
I wrap my bottom arm across my chest/upper arm to avoid that problem, as well as the problem of waking her when I eventually pull my arm from under her pillow to roll over.
Also, I read somewhere years ago that sleeping with your bottom arm up or under your or her pillow is really bad for your shoulder. I heard it substantiated elsewhere but never actually looked into the veracity of it, but chose to alter my sleeping position in case it’s true.
Not with this girl, but there were some in the past where a numb arm could have been desired just for this purpose.

Look for the “Gel” toppers. They have some sort of cooling gel that counteracts the warming effects.

I know most of you have been losing sleep 
worrying about my plight, so I thought I’d give a brief update of our work-in-progress.
Well, the J-LP trick didn’t work. Part of the problem is that, while I’m equally as handsome as Jean-Luc, I’m not as charming. That could be due to the fact that my French vocabulary is limited to words like; porte cochere, omelette, macrame & grand prix. Additionally, the arm under the head thing might work for 3-4 takes of a 1-minute scene, but I’ll bet even J-L wouldn’t last 15 minutes in that pose.
What did work was the arm-sandwich between 2 slices of pillow. Well, it worked for me, but baby-cakes wasn’t thrilled with her head being that high through the night. We’re going to try an egg-crate (pad, not an actual crate) this weekend, though I like to think that all the valentine’s amour (hey, more ~french that I know!) in the air will allow me to “muscle” through it for a night. Also, she’s game to the gel-top but we’re still researching at the moment.

Such a shame! Truly, Grand Prix was a disappointment to her…? That IS too bad. 
She’s not much into grand prix, but she did enjoy Rush. Grand Prix is one of my favorite French words (and sports), but porte cochere is much more fun to say. Though neither one is very sexy.
I should try to put all 5 of my French words into a romantic sentence for our dinner on Saturday. Or maybe I should just cook her an omelette. :rolleyes:
