We are less than two weeks to actual baseball and there seems to be a distinct lack of baseball talk here. How are your teams looking?
The Mets have for the most part looked terrible, with scores of mental errors and terrible defense. However, even without Harvey we have some exciting young pitching (we will pretend that DiceK is not the favorite to get the number 5 spot in the rotation) and we have an outfield of actual bonafide major leaguers. And there is always a chance Drew agrees to sign for a Starbucks gift card.
This is probably another transition year, but at least there is some process. Another couple decades and we will even get Bobby Bonilla off the books.
