I know Sarah Jessica Parker was in it, she later went on to be in the series “Sex in the City.” Jamie Gertz was also in it. Ironically, SJP was the outcast geek and Jamie was one of the cool kids.
Does anyone else remember this show? Any idea how I can get it on video?
I used to love that show when I was 7 or so. It was so with it.
They only made a handful of shows. 20 to be precise
I doubt it ever came to video. Tape or DVD. It just never had a big enough following. Maybe some people remember it fondly (as I do) but other then that there’s probably not enough demand.
A few months ago Nick-at-Night (I believe) went through all 20 episodes. Probably your best bet is to keep an eye out and snag em. Or find somebody else who recorded 'em and buy 'em off 'em.
You know, 'em is a pretty good gender neutral contracted English pronoun. I wish I knew how to spell it correctly.
I liked the show, too,. sort-of.
Plus the blond stoner kid went on to be Capt. Kirk’s son. How cool is that?
“It’s not punk. It’s New Wave! Totally different head, man. Totally!!”
That was a great show, and I’d buy it on DVD.
Wow, I vaguely remember that show! I don’t think I’ve thought of it since I saw it.
[sub]Although now that I do think of it, I don’t remember it as being very good…[/sub]
I used to love that show! I was 13 and 14 when it was on, and I thought it was, like, totally hilarious. Totally.
Actually the late Merritt Butrick played Kirk’s son David Marcus in “The Wrath of Khan” before this series aired.
Sir Rhosis
This show was hilarious! Too bad they didn’t keep it, but IIRC, they started to have some sort of social awareness aspect or something and died a merciful death.
Tracy Nelson played a snobby princess on that show–my favorite line was something about spinach salad and spinach quiche being totally redundant. That was a fun show, and I’d buy it too, if it were available.
[Johnny Slash] Totally cool. Toootally. [/Johnny Slash]
Tracy Nelson! I’d forgotten about her!
I remember her best as a nun on Father Dowling Mysteries.
Great show. I remember Devo performing at the HS in one of the episodes.
The Waitresses did the theme song… it’s still running through my head.
