St. Louis hockey fans--music at Blues home games?

Hey, all,

Mr. Cameron does DJ stuff for weddings. He’s got this bride who wants to come into the hall to the music that plays when the Blues come onto the ice. There are, of course, a few songs connected to the St. Louis Blues, the obvious one is not what we’re after. We’ve apparently ruled out Glen Miller’s St. Louis Blues March, and Blues Power. I’ve checked on some fan boards and had someone say this morning that they thought it was something from the Blues Brothers.

My mom is a Blues fan, says she knows and likes the music but can’t think what it is to hum it and doesn’t think it sounds like blues. Which, you know, rules out most of the Blues Brothers stuff. I can’t depend on my mother’s descriptions of the music, though–when questioned she confessed that she wouldn’t know how to identify blues if she heard it.

I called the Blues, and there’s no one in the office who knows until Monday, and yes, this bride is marching into her reception tonight. Anybody here know what this music is, if it’s really Blues Brothers, and if not, if we might be able to find a (legitimate!) recording?

I don’t get to many games, but I’m sure it is the Blues Brothers song I Can’t Turn You Loose. You can hear a sample here so you can be sure. Scroll down to the sample list, it’s the first one.

My mom says that’s it! Bless you, sir, and your descendants, unto the seventh generation!
