I’ll probably buy it second hand in a few years to fill the gap in my Trek DVD collection. I’m a completist, but a long term completist 
So far my collection consists of TMP DE and TSFS which my sis got me for christmas so I can’t complain.
I confess, I’d be curious to hear Shatner’s commentary on this movie. Not enough to buy it, but maybe enough to rent it. Will he try to praise the movie’s dubious merits? Or will he show the amusing, wry self-awareness that is his latest persona, and laugh along with his audience at the movie that never should have been?
His commentary on ‘Incubus’ makes that disc more worth having, after all.
This is my feeling exactly. His interview on the ST:III DVD is priceless- he seems to be going off the deep end for a bit; taking credit for teaching Nimoy everything he knows about directing.

Did you see Shatner in the the Monday Night Football intro? Man he has got really beefy. All you can eat buffets- the final frontier!
