Nelix, was a jealous asshole. He’d probably wind up pummeling the kids for looking at his sweet Kess.
Kes’ best scenes were with the Doctor. She was the first character that interacted with him as a real person. IIRC she was the one that lobbied for him to control when his program was turned on and off. Giving him free will to pursue other interests. Before that he was just a program that got started when needed. Much like Firefox. 
Jennifer Lien and Robert Picardo had much better on screen chemistry (as colleagues on a space ship) than she ever had with Neelix.
I wish they could have kept her on the show. But apparently she had some problems. Drugs? or maybe illness.

I might have called the police for her own protection too, partly due to fears that if she kept acting like that then some other civilian would not react kindly.
Yeah, flashing some neighborhood kids might be batshit crazy, but it’s a long way from pedophilia. That leap in logic would short-circuit some androids if spoken aloud by Capt. Kirk.

This sounds way more like she was intoxicated or some mental issue then that she was getting off sexually by flashing the kids, in front of their parents even.

Considering that Whill Whheaton was considerably younger than the rest of the TNG cast and had no issues making long term friendships, I’m going to go with it being her.
Oh wait, this was Voyager, and NONE of those people have any long term friendships with each other, the show sucked that bad.

I always thought Jennifer Lien was much prettier than Jeri Ryan. The weird wig she had to wear most of the time detracted from her looks.

This doesn’t sound sexual to me. Mooning someone is more of a expression of outrage. It used to be pretty common to see someone’s bare butt hanging out of a car window. 
I can’t recall any prosecutions for mooning.
But, obviously Lien has serious issues. Sexual? Like she’s trying attract the kids to her? I don’t think so. Just the opposite. She was mad and wanted to insult the family.

I have to agree. Even in her prime, I would be very uncomfortable getting flashed by her. She looked like a 14-year-old girl on Voyager, for Chrissake. As she looks today… well… :eek:
I think WW was much more a “child actor” in TNG, while Lien was just a “younger than the rest of the cast adult actor”. I could certainly see how having a defined adult/child situation can result in a more pleasant situation than an adult/other-adult-you-have-nothing-in-common-with situation.
Or maybe WW is just saner.
