I saw William Shatner’s documentary(ish) interviews with the other captains. Avery Brooks sounds a bit like someone who’s smoked a few trees in his day.
Anyone who’s going should see if they can get him to go on about the music that flows through us all and the rhythm of the stories of our lives in harmony etc etc
I’d put my money on Shatner, except he’ll probably be giving it to Kate Mulgrew in the shuttle bay.
Stars of placeholder shows don’t count as Star Trek captains.

But both Shatner and Stewart (and many of the other TNG principals) will be in Phoenix for Comicon, which I can attend. And really, they’re the only two who matter.
