No previews, but it moves to new time next week. One Quandamn hour later.
btw, on radio, ENT is being advertised like a mofo. On the Country, Clasic Rock, and Adult Contemp stations here in the OKC. Prolly on other radio genres as well. Nice ads, too.
- When they get to the end of the alphabet, and you know they will, will it be Enterprise Aa, Enterprise A1, or will they start using Vulcan letters?
Why not just have an Enterprise class?
- Anyone going to try to guess how they’re going to get out of this mess?
Archer’s going to pull a Kirk?
I know I’m in the minority here but I’m loving this season. I know it’s had its really bad moments but overall, I’m really enjoying it.
Well, Trip will weasel his feet to a position where he can shift the giant magnifying glass slightly to the left, and the focused ray will burn into the ropes binding him, instead of his flesh…
Oh wait, I think that was Batman…
No Clue Boy – on the new time next week. Not that it matters – it’s just repeats for another month and a half. Grrrrrrrrrr… according to startrek.com, we don’t get the next new one until end of April.
Why was T’Pol so moody? Did she get too close to some of that Trellium D stuff?
Sorry, but T’Pol is just not a Vulcan. I think she’s actually a Poutylip Siliconian who’s ears have been surgically altered.
And gosh, how about T’Pol’s unique battle strategy during the final attack scene? I think she was using the “Bend Over and Take It Maneuver”. Interestingly, I think that’s the same strategy she used with Trip a few weeks ago. One theory – perhaps she’s pregnant with Trip’s love child, and she doesn’t want to tell him yet. She’s also in love with Archer, and she can’t decide between the two of them, or whether she’s ready for a hot Threesome Vulcan Nookiepressure session.
One thing’s certain – if Archer didn’t totally convince Degra and friends, I think the lizards just convinced them for him.
They descended screaming on the planet, but unfortunately, due to a miscalculation in scale, the entire war fleet was accidentally swallowed by a small targ.
I agree. I had almost given up on the show, but this season has been a huge improvement overall. I thought tonights episode was very good and I hope they can keep it up.
NO, not a targ! PORTHOS!
I’m enjoying it, too. But, it could be better. Could be much better. Still, this ep was good.
NX-01 was fighting several lizard ships. Got at least one, too. Not exactly taking it up the ass. No Picard Manuever yet, ya know…
Byzantines.
Now we’ve got to wait -six- weeks to find out what’s going to happen!!! ARGH!
I did get it on tape, though so can re-watch whenever.
Archer sure did a bang-up job of piloting that insectoid shuttle though, didn’t he?! Hehe, I hadn’t thought about it taking more than two appendages to control–but that would make perfect sense, since they were insectoids.
Let me just interject here again that those insectoids gave me the heebie jeebies, btw!
Gah on T’Pol for being so emotional–it must be that virus thing, I guess. Still though, she has feelings for Archer!!! “Get out!” Gee, poor Trip!
Damn that Daniels and the time travel … and now the transdimensional beings and the spherebuilders and the expanse that is going to destroy our universe. I really don’t know how they’re going to bring this to an ending that would be … satisfactory without pushing that big RED reset button; if it were practically anyone -but- Bermaga, I’d have more faith, but with those two in control … well, it’s just hard to believe they can pull it off. Still though, it looks like it is at least going to be an enjoyable and exciting ride.
Can’t wait until the next new episode!!! And am wondering what the season-ending cliffhanger will be!! If they -dare- to cancel Enterprise now, I may well go berzerk and storm UPN headquarters.
(joking, really …)
btw, what’s with the 3X18 in the title of this thread?
Season 3 Episode 18, I’d presume?
From the production notes for “Damage”:
Perhaps I was right. Maybe she is pregnant with Trip’s love child?
Or… shall we try some other guesses?
-
She’s already done Archer, and never told Trip, and she’s pregnant with Archer’s love child?
-
She’s not really a Vulcan? (easy one to see)
-
She’s really one of the trans-dimensional beings that built the spheres, and now she’s having second thoughts? (after all, the Xindi kept talking about some “HER”).
-
She accidentally ate some Trellium D and is turning into a Vulcan Zombie?
-
She can’t take the pressure of living the lie, and she decides to reveal to the crew that her boobs are fake…
-
She’s jealous of Hoshi?
Istanbul was Constantinople now it’s Istanbul, not Constanitople. Been a long time gone, Constantinople.
Why did Constantinople get the works? That’s nobody’s business but the Turks
Remember people! I’ve embedded a contest in this here thread. Be the first to explain the answer in detail and you gets a prize! For real.
That’s alright… you can keep your goo.
Haven’t seen it yet. Back later.
First, let me remember to thank NoClueBoy for the always great running commentary.
I really do enjoy reading it every week, NCB.
And yes, I sniffled when Archer took Porthos to Sick Bay. Poor pup! I don’t think he cares too much for Phlox. LOL Or perhaps it’s the other way around? I will definitely get at least two good re-viewings of the episode this weekend, me thinks.
And I have -no- clue what the clue is.
tarragon, over and out…
Sentence fragment! VIVA USED A SENTENCE FRAGMENT!
Ah… 3X18 = 70
In the Trek world, we usually number the episodes additively (new word) in order shown, not by season. That was what confused me. No problemo.
Next few eps:
Damage (4-21-04) - While dissension among Xindi ranks festers, Enterprise tries to recover from a devastating attack.
The Forgotten (4-28-04) - Two high-ranking Xindi offer to stop the launch of their superweapon if Archer can prove they’ve been manipulated. Meanwhile, the crew mourns their lost mates.
E² (5-5-04) - An attempt to use a Xindi subspace corridor leads Enterprise to a bizarre encounter with another Starfleet ship.
The Council (5-12-04) - Archer confronts the Xindi Council.
