I kind of think I know but could someone please tell me exactly what a spoiler is?
Also they may have killed off Data but I think they also left themelves with an opening to bring him back if they want to. After all, they have the prototype android called “Before” and Data did do some downloading from himself to the other android.
Perhaps they just need to find where exactly the download went to. I’m sure they can legitimatlely bring him back, if they decide to make more movies and want him back.
But then, they split up the team in other ways too, so maybe they don’t intend to make more movies, who knows?

A spoiler is information about something that would spoil someone else’s enjoyment of said thing.
Giving away a plot twist or ending to a movie/book/videogame to someone who hasn’t watched/read/played.
Telling someone who videotaped The Big Game to watch later because they were at work what the final score was.
That sort of thing.
The obligatory SDMB Simpsons reference would be Homer walking out of Empire Strikes Back past the line of people waiting to see the next showing, and saying, “Darth Vader was Luke’s father?! Who would have seen that coming?”

Sorry. I was busy previewing the rushes of Star Trek XI - The Wrath of Shatner. (It’s pretty bad)
For the OP: I think Spiner will be in another Star Trek movie. Unless Enterprise utterly fails as a series. Then, the franchise may just die. All versions of it. JMHO 
NOOOOOOOOOO! DS9 and Voyager never had great ratings (for that matter, did TNG?), and some of the VOY stories weren’t that great, but they kept them on for years anyway. ENT is only in the middle of its second season, anyhow.
