Yeah, I know that the film opens Friday, but I figured I’d better get this in now before we become overran with LOTR threads. Anyone heard anything? About all I’ve heard is that a couple of people who managed to find bootleg copies on the net were sorely disappointed by what they saw. That and Westley’s parts have been chopped to almost nothing.

Berman said you see Wesley, but he doesn’t really say anything anymore. i already want to see the director’s cut!
I’ve seen the film but since I work for Paramount I should not use the board to promote the film.
You do see Weasle boy at the wedding scene but he does not get to speak. I’m wondering why he is in a starfleet uniform.
I read somewhere that Janeway was promoted to Admiral and makes a cameo on ST:Nemesis. ::shudders::
This is not a rumor: This will be the first Trek to be rated PG-13 because of “a scene of sexual content”. Check the trailer here. The rating is the first thing you see when you start the trailer.
I’m still looking forward to the movie, but I’m probably gonna cringe during the dune buggy sequence. (What the HELL were they thinking when they cooked THAT up?)
Knowing how prudish the MPAA is, that could be just any male character looking at a female character.
I’m predicting the movie will have a silly, contrived villian in a ridiculous outfit who’s Just Plain Evil. Almost all the character development will be spent on Picard and Data.
You know, like the last one.
And the one before that.
