Star Trek: Picard discussion thread

I’ve always wondered if one could hatch a replicated egg.

Seven and Data will be making appearances on the show!

Yes, we have been discussing that in this thread. Riker, Troi, and Hugh will also appear on the show.

Does the *Pasteur *have geriatric ward? :dubious:

And Picard surrendered his ship to Q in the same ep, giving rise to the customary French-military jokes. Then he tried to do it again to the Ferengi just four episodes later!

Apologies. Guess I wasn’t read it as closely as I thought. Bowing out now.

Huge bump. A new trailer has been released with our first look at Troi and Riker since the abominable Enterprise finale.

Plus, Number One, the dog.

Best trailer so far. This series may be really good. It’s a shame most fans won’t be able to see it.

I’m not signing up to a streaming service to watch one show.

That does look pretty good. Too busy to watch it in coming months, though.

Riker is in a kitchen…

Holy shit, he’s Chef again and the whole series turns out to be just a holodeck simulation.

So help me god, but that actually looks good.

I am! Caelan watched the trailer all the way through. That means it’s a quality product. He is a discriminating cat.

Good to see that someone in Hollywood understands that there is so much more to Trek than good sci-fi stories. It has always been about the characters.

I’m guessing Spot is his favorite character?

SimWife gave it a solid thumbs up - so its a watcher.

Not really. He thinks Spot over-acted and was too reliant on stock characterizations.

Is that finally a glimpse of Hugh at 2:03?

Changed title.

Thank you, Chronos.

Yep, apparently so.

Trailer breakdown here.
