I’m a huge Star Trek fan and I find those shows offensively terrible. Not because they’re bad Star Trek; they’re bad TV.

I also agree with RickJay. Picard is yell at the tv bad. Filled with supposedly smart people doing incredibly stupid things.
Discovery has miniscule moments where it starts to crawl out of the pit of awful it is in (probably the only reason I keep watching). It just needs to get its head out of its own ass and have the crew act like they are in Star Fleet and not group therapy.
SNW, Lower Decks and Prodigy are the torch bearers of Trek as far as I’m concerned.
I’m honestly surprised at how good Prodigy is.
…the most notable of which is the Captain Pike episodes.
