This should be good. Reminds me of the Animatrix which was a similar Matrix-themed anthology. Like that one, I expect this will be hit and miss but will have a few episodes that I really like (A Detective Story was probably my favorite).
It will be interesting watching Star Wars stories in a range of anime styles and of course Lucas himself was hugely inspired by Kurosawa and samurai films so this will be a full turn of the circle.
