It probably won’t be on over here for ages, but someone’s got the entire episode up on YouTube in seperate sections. I loved it. The Farscape parody was just genius.

Giant wrench? What’s that about?
I didn’t like the Walter – quick change bit. That broke the fourth wall in a big way (because it was clear that the end was supposed to be Stargate-real and not Stargate-movie).
What was the bit that Walter whispered about a cake and celebration?
In the early seasons, the eagle-eyed viewer could occasionally spot some SGC technician or such, way in the background of a scene, usually for just a second or two, holding or carrying (I don’t think it was ever seen actually being used, but I could wrong) a giant wrench. Giant as in about three feet long. Said wrench was never referred to or commented on by any character, it was just a little joke that DeLouise and Co. pulled once in a while. I admit that I probably never would have noticed the wrench if I hadn’t listened to the DVD commentaries and heard them point it out now and again. Still, it kind of got to be a little “wink and a nod” to the viewers, so I figured it would just HAVE to show up in the 200th episode. But I guess not. Maybe someone lost it . . .
Must be sitting next to the cake on the other side of the gate.
The SG1 mailing lists I’m on have exploded this afternoon. Apparently, the show is being cancelled. There are letter writing campaigns being mounted.
I don’t think it is. The Stargate: SG-1 GAME was cancelled, but the show still gets really good ratings, I don’t think they’d cancel it.
Nope, cancelled. Kinda a slap in the face to do it right before celebrfating the 200th episode. Fans are upset.
Well that’s crappy as hell!
That’s the part that sucks. I’ve been expecting it to get canceled for a couple seasons now, but pulling a Farscape on it really pisses off the fans. They should at least be allowed to quickly put together a series finale.
Oh, well. At least we still have ECW. Now that’s some fine Sci Fi fare.

Well hopefully the writers have enough notice to give SG1 a dignified conclusion. :rolleyes: Of course depending how it’s doing in syndication MGM could keep making episodes, but syndication runs a year behind SciFi. I wonder if the Gate program (not necessarily Atlantis) will become public knowledge in the last few episoded? I’ve always wanted to see that.
I read just now that they will finish filming and air the final episodes of season 10.

That has to be one of the most ill-timed announcements in the history of television.
Could they at least, for the love of God, please promote “Walter”?! He’s probably the longest serving MSGT in the USAF in recent history. He should be a Chief MSGT by now, at least a Senior MSGT. Poor guy, SG-1 sprouts Lieutenant Colonels and Generals like there’s no tomorrow, but they can’t bring “Walter” up to E-8 or E-9 from E-7. Sucks to be Walter.
Not only that, but Walter also gets eaten by zombies.
Okay, that’s it! First I don’t become aware of the quality of the show Firefly until the movie Sernity is made and I love it. I go out and buy the package on DVD to make up lost time.
Then, I become aware of a program called Farscape and catch a few episodes. I think “hey this is pretty decent I think I’ll… WHAT?” CRAP!
Well, I see that some of the people from Farscape have come on-board with Stargate, a show I hadn’t been watching. Well, the 200th is coming up and it looks good. I’ll catch a few episodes to try to get up on what’s what before it comes on. The other night I catch it and think it was good. Pretty funny stuff.
So’s, I thinks to myself “Well, I guess I’ll do some catching up and start watching Stargate.”
