Lt. Scott asked about the father, and revealed he knew about TJ & Col Young, and TJ seemed to confirm Scott’s suspicions, 'though I don’t remember if she actually said the words.
The crew has already been exposed to aliens, so anything could happen with the baby. Plus now they’ve got the crew pondering whether God might be leaving custom-made planets around for them so who knows? God or whatever it is could give the baby special meaning. Which will make me barf with sympathetic morning sickness.
We’ll see. They’re trying to carve out their own dark and edgy style. Maybe they’ll come up with something new.
I’ve read that each season will take place in a different galaxy. I’m already curious what that will mean. How long will it take Destiny to traverse intergalactic space? Will they leave all the aliens and mysteries of the current galaxy behind, or is something going to keep following them, or keep showing up?
The planet-builders could be an even more advanced form of gate-builder, or something.
They really need to get out of that ship more. The on planet stuff and the mystery beacon reminded me of what I liked about the original Stargate. The Rush Young dynamic is tired and overdone. More planets, more aliens and more mystery is the ticket. The on ship stuff is oppressive and not in an entertaining way.
Didn’t they have to leave the second shuttle on the planet? Young said it could not go exoatmospheric so don’t even try, or something to that effect. That means they are down one shuttle and they left a “calling card” on the mystery planet.
Not to mention, they haven’t even used the Stargate since the show came back from hiatus. It’s called STARGATE Universe, not CREEPY OLD SHIP AND SOMETIMES A SHUTTLE Universe.
