I’m not sure if I’m proud or embarrassed that I made it to Organian. The scary thing is that I would have done better on a TNG or DS9 quiz.
I thought the quiz would never end. How many questions were there???

Well, I went up and down, but I ended at the Organian level. I had a lot of lucky guesses though.
I got to Rigellian, and intended to finish the damn thing, but it seems to have died, mid-load. And speaking of load, how the hell do they score this thing? I must have missed half the questions, and most of the ones I did get right were pure guesses.
I got as high as Organian at one point, but finished (finally!) as a Bill Gates.
In light of the above scores, I’m not certain if I should be pleased or disappointed that I am a mere “couch potato.”
I stayed at couch potato for a long time, but finally clawed my way up to Vulcan, which is certainly satisfactory.
It was the planet names that killed me. And what was with all those electronica questions, anyway?

Made it to Officer, thanks to some lucky guessing, before I ran out of sitzfleisch and interest.
After sitting at Ensign forever (and getting lots of questions right!), Two music questions shot me up to Trek Geek, then Vulcan. So it’s definitely suspect. Still working on that final ranking . . .
After a brief (and deserved) flux between Trek Geek and Vulcan, a music question bumped me up to Officer, and the bonus to Captain . . .
Real questions got me to Bill Gates, and to Admiral, and then a lot of flux around Bill Gates, and ending at Bill Gates.
My favorite wrong answer was “you’re wrong. you may now resume a normal social life” for missing the Spock’s serial number question.
I made Rigellian, but more so because I knew the music equipment questions, rather than the star trek questions(although I’m enough of a nerd to know those too). the weighting system is indeed suspect.

I made it to Rigellian, and the scary thing was that I must have made it there, and stayed there, with about 1/3 of the test still to go. (Hey, I missed the safe combination and Spock’s Serial Number)
I missed most of the bonus questions, and would have been toast if they’d asked more non Original Series show questions.
I swear that I got a question right at one point and actually had my rank LOWERED! (I got it back.) Anyone else notice this??
