Sadly enough, I actually remembered the safe combo somehow. Strange memory.
Made it to Rigellian, about halfway through (although I did complete it). Missed Kirk’s combination, even though I made an effort to memorize it after seeing the episode once, thinking it would make a good trivia question. Apparently I was right. Actually, I seem to recall that there were two different episodes where Kirk’s combination was visible (This Side of Paradise and The Tholian Web, maybe?), and the combinations were different.
I don’t even think I’ve watched an episode of TOS in the last five years, either. It’s sad what the brain will retain…
Yikes, how did I make Admiral? I’ve seen about one and a half TOS shows! I guessed a lot based on what I thought the writers were most likely to have done - maybe I should write sci-fi TV?
And yes, I would have shot right up to the top if it were a TNG quiz, I am more of a neo-nerd.
