My copy of Outlook’s status bar appears and then disappears at apparent 1-second intervals
I closed Outlook. Excel’s status bar does this now, too.
Is there a stuck key combo that would do that?

Okay. WINWORD is using 100% cpu on the one core, and my desktop icons are moving up and down by 3 pixels once per second.

Hmmm. Killed WINWORD. Now EXPLORER at 22% CPU, wasn’t before. Killing EXPLORER. Whee!
Similar problem, but nothing makes it go away: In IE 7, sometimes the Menu Bar appears, and sometimes it goes away. Sometimes it happens even as I go from page to page within a site. Why is this happening, and what can I do to make it stay?
