Having no TV, I’ve seen very little Trek, but I’ve seen a couple of the movies and flicked through some books, and I do find Seven of Nine very intriguing.
You know, once HDD prices come down a bit, Paramount or whoever could make a killing if they sold a large HDD with all the Trek episodes on it. A single DVD can carry over 2 episodes, so call it 2 GB/episode, and that’s 100 episodes on a 200 GB HDD - the entirety of B5 or TOS - not sure about Voyager or TNG. Alternatively, put all of one or two seasons on a much smaller and cheaper HDD. Why take up all that shelf space with umpteen DVDs when you can have one convenient HDD? Simply plug it into your Firewire port and go.
Hoshi, no question. The only reason I still watch Enterprise. Where’s the “lust” smiley?
