I found a link on USA today to a web page which asks the question, “Who are the top ten hottest alien babes of film and TV?”

I have my differences from the site, which ranks the alien hotties as follows, in reverse order:

  1. Andrea the Android from Star Trek
  2. Leloo from The Fifth Element
  3. Stella Star from Star Crash
  4. Pris from Blad Runner
  5. Princess Aura from the Flash Gordon movie
  6. Xev Bellringer from Lexx
  7. Aeon Flux from Aeon Flux
  8. Number 6 from Battlestar Galactica
  9. Altaira from Forbidden Planet
  10. Space Vampire Girl from Life Force

As you’ll note teh term ‘alien’ is construed quite loosely here, and the term hottie is too (Altaira from Star Wars? Pris from Blade Runner? I don’t THINK so.)

Even worse, the number one ranking must surely go to someone who’s not even on the fucking list, Slavegirl Leia from Star Wars. Hot, hot, hot. The number two ranking also belongs to someone not even on the list, Six of One from Tripping the Rift.

The number three rank definitely belongs to Xev Bellringer, as anyone who ever watched Lexx would know.

I have other problems with the list, but that’ll do for now.

I forget her name or character name, the Vulcan from Enterprise. she was HOT!

Ok, I looked her up, Jolene Blalock who played Commander T’Pol. Even hotter in non-Vulcan form.

Ayla Secura (or pretty much any other Twil’ek woman) - Star Wars
Ren - DearS
Chiana - Farscape
Hathor - Stargate: SG1 *
Lyekka - LEXX (Neither Zev nor Xev really do anything for me. Not that I’d kick them out of bed, mind, but Lyekka…rrrowr.)
Starfire - Teen Titans (Heresy, I know, but I think animated Kori is much, much more attractive than the comics version.)
Boomer/Sharon - BSG (Much hotter than Six.)
Eureka - Eureka 7 (It was hard to decide if I found her or Anemone more attractive…in the end, it came down to the blue hair. >_> )

  • The hot part is from the host, of course. Still, even Hathor can count if Aeon Flux can.

Sorry guys, but I agree with the list. Matilda May as the naked space vampire from life force basically kick started me into puberty.

The movie was awful, but it was worth it to see her.

But Princess Aura should be much higher on the list.

But for a new suggestion Galaxina from the movie of the same name.

It’s a boggle-worthy list, alrighty. Frex, Altaira. In “Forbidden Planet” she was the Professor’s hot daughter, but she played a total innocent. Didn’t even know what a swimsuit was. A very nice girl, no doubt about it, one you’d be proud to take home to Mom. Not a hottie.

Not really. Some of the babes on the original list are human. Altaira for one. Several others, for others. I guess they just have to have an “alien-ish” quality to them.

Yeah, there’s nothing sexy about the way either of them conducted themselves. Aeon Flux wore a sexy costume, but she was kinda obsessed with killing people. And Pris mostly killed people, too, android pleasure unit though she might be.

To be honest, a lot of that list is of the “look don’t touch or lose body parts” type.

Somehow I completely managed to miss the no. 1 on the list, a cult favourite of mine, watched for exactly the same plot related reasons I watch Species when its on :smiley:
