He’s a seventh dan, I believe, Aikidoka, a very rare rank to attain. Unlike most action stars, he is the real deal.
As for his running, yeah, it looks goofy. But no martial artist is walking around without injuries, I imagine he took a few ankle techniques badly.
Yeah, and the fact that he could pull off that deception tends to convince me that he’s a much better actor than we give him credit for!
Aodoi, You forgot one “good” thing in your list: Organized crime is “good,” as long as it protects a family member from the CIA, FBI, etc. (This is hinted in ABOVE THE LAW, but really came through in an unproduced script that Seagall wanted to use for his directorial debut. The story had the typical former CIA spook character leaving the agency and joining the Mafia, then rising through the ranks like Michael Corleone, except it wasn’t presented as tragic; it was triumphant.)
