Any ideas on which music videos are parodied?
And is that actually Seth Macfarlane singing? Or is it someone else?
The thing with the candlesticks near the end is a Sting video for “Wrapped Around Your Finger”
Is a parody of music videos or movies, or both? Stewie on the horse (no hands, leaning back) is from Dances With Wolves. One scene looked like it was from an old Police video, maybe Every Breath You Take.
A lot of it was familiar, but I haven’t watched music videos for years.
It was fun to watch though!

I think the hugging the knees and crying was from the Cars’ “Drive,” video. The falling backwards off the bridge reminded me of one of the Alicia Stone Aerosmith videos (“Cryin’” maybe?) where she bungee jumps at the end and gives the finger, but she didn’t go into the water like Stewie did, so maybe that was something else.
The lego-ish, blocky Stewie was from the music video for “Fell in Love with a Girl” by the White Stripes.
I thought that as well, but the way he looked reminded me of the CGI skinny dude in Dire Straits’ “Money for Nothing” video as well.
That thing was trippy and tres cool.

Edit: As an aside, I am an avid watcher of Family Guy and recent episodes have been atrocious in my opinion…and this ep was a great callout to the first coupla seasons they did. I loved it and hope the rest are this good.
