Warning Issued
DrDeth you’ve been told to knock this behavior off before. It’s deliberate, it’s disruptive, and it’s time for it to stop.
Everyone else, please drop the discussion of this behavior, as frustrating as it is. Next time, please just report it.*
Again, what is the warning for?
Is it for being annoying? That’s not against the rules, and you’d have to issue hundreds of warnings a day.
For being Pedantic? That’s not against the rules, and you’d have to issue hundreds of warnings a day.
For failure to follow a Mod’s instructions? Altho the previous mod note covers a post which is superficially similar, they are not the same at all. “using a past character’s name to refer to a role played by the same actor” is not the same *as getting a Real Life person mixed up with a role he once played. *

What you are doing is adding on to what I was Noted about- and that Note was a long time ago, and I stopped doing that. Read the Note, and you can see your warning is not for the same thing. You can’d just add on “not correct posters” and “an actor” to you note retroactively.
So, it’s *not *for any violations of the SDMB posted rules. It’s *not *for failure to follow instructions.
What, exactly is the warning for?
