I found this video while searching drives and decided to upload it to YouTube for all to enjoy.

I was younger…and even though I was fat, I was cute. Way cuter than I am now, anyway. Sigh…

The rest of the video where I play is very amusing. I’m extremely animated, to put it mildly, and it’s amazing that I won, since it looked like I was losing my ass for awhile. Then I suddenly got on a really hot streak and nailed it.

I was intensely nervous before filming (you site around all day while they shoot a bunch of episodes) and the minute the cameras rolled I was the embodiment of calm.

And I won about $1500, a really lame cheapass diamond bracelet, a videotape player, a set of ugly crystal glasses and… I can’t remember the last thing. The name of the show was “Rodeo Drive” and it lasted one season.

Not hard to do in 1990. My hair was as loose and relaxed as the rest of me, the polar opposite of everyone else.

I remember that show. Your outfit was deliciously 80s. What was that host’s name? I loved her standup, but she wasn’t the best host. Louise something, right?

Yes, I did the next show the very same day and flamed out.

The host’s name was Louise Duart.

Do you really think the outfit was 80’s? I recall the 80’s as being very rigid and right-angled. It was a very expensive outfit, actually, not mine, loaned to me by a friend. I still have it hanging in the closet, I don’t think I’ve worn it since.

My best friend was curious about my weight because she knows I’m technically much heavier right now, but she swears I don’t look as big as I do in that video. Which may be age and a lot more exercise now. But I have to laugh at my OP and I want to crack a joke on myself: “Losing your ass, eh? You obviously won it all back and then some!” arf.
