starts with storm noises,then a driving heart/train beat, with it’s lovely refrain of “Black Rain Come Down!” and imagery like “You can say these streets are rivers, you can call these rivers streets”.
I remember a whole album called something like One Stormy Night. Can’t remember who did it; combination of instrumental music and rainy sound effects. Very nice as background for an extended romantic interlude.

Nice find! I had wanted to suggest that one myself. We had a tape of that to go to sleep by. We led into the storm sounds with The Doors’ Riders on the Storm so there was approaching half an hour of soothing rain and thunder to drift off to.
PLEASE tell me you aren’t going to have this music play automatically on the site? There are only a few things that a website can do that will make me instantly close the window and put it on my “never ever ever ever revisit” list, and one of them is having music start up all by itself.
The Cloudburst movement from Ferde Grofe’s Grand Canyon Suite has fantastic musical storm sound effects. As kids, we used to like to act out what it would be like to be caught in such a storm.
