Has anyone built or purchased a Stormtrooper body armor suit, a la Star Wars? An example can be seen here:

I see these going on e-bay for several hundred dollars (for the good ones). Can anyone offer tips as to how/where to get one (cheaply)?

This site has some instructions, and links for purchasing ones others make. But I don’t think they’re exactly being mass-produced, so prices aren’t going to be too low.
