Hmm, for the ultimate thread, I’d have to say it’s The Telemarketer Speaks. I Respond by Cervaise. Damned funny, that one. As for the others, I couldn’t hazard a guess.

Thanks for the plug, Tuckerfan. However, even though I’ve grown to be rather proud of my rant, I’m not ashamed to admit it pales in comparison to two all-time classic threads: How to kill evil Nazi Groundhogs and Funny things said during love making/intimate moments.
As far as the greatest OP ever, I will forever and always have a soft spot for a monkey that I wish for. The first post is funny enough, but it’s the followup that makes it a classic.
Well, I’m a relative newbie here, but I have no doubt this is the most awesome-most poster ever.

One of my all time favlorite threads, that I’ve sent to everybody I know (and received rave reviews in return) has been the Infamous Goat Cannon Thread, surely a classic in the field.
And, yes, Cervaise’s response to the telemarketer is another hoot of clinical dissection.
Generally consistent best poster? IMHO, that would be Fenris who shares a strong interest in science fiction, is very well read, has an intelligent point of view and rants exceedingly well when the situation calls for it. Enjoy his mastery in Iron Chef Part Quatro

WallyM7 was probably the greatest poster. He was only hear for awhile, but he had an incredible post rate and those posts were high quality.
