Strange.. but it turns me on......

Hmmm, no single smell is actually a turn on for me. But one of my favorites is summer rains in the desert. I definately have to agree to that one.
I also like the smell of a babies skin.
NO!, I don’t want babies. I just like their smell.

hehehe, visit time.

I must be a warped guy. I love the scent of xylene, methyl-ethyl-ketone, acetone, and 1-1-1 trichloroethane. Mmm. Industrial solvents.

You’re not alone. I happen to like the smell of 3-in-1 oil.
(It doesn’t “turn me on”. I just like it.)

Steel. I just love the smell of steel. I’ve got a set of hex wrenches that have the best smell. Every time I open the toolbox I pick them up and smell them.

I love the smell of petrol (gasoline), I love it so much that when my friends car had broken down and we were walking back with a full petrol can I decided to smell it straight from the can, it was only when I came round on the floor that I realised it wasn’t such a good idea! I also love the smell of really fresh fish…fresh basil…my girlfriend…and nail polish remover. On a slightly more bizzare note my mum loves the smell of dried wild mushrooms (ceps or beletus edilus to be precise) as she says “they smell meaty and manly, like testicles that haven’t been washed for 24 hours”. The shrink says I should be out of therapy in a few years…

Subways.

The smell of sulphur, especially in volcanic areas. Jasmine flowers. Soil freshly dampened after a summer’s rain.

There are 3 different perfumes that totally overcome my ability to reason. If a woman wears these scents, I can refuse her nothing. I would be putty in her hands.

I don’t know the names of these perfumes, and I don’t WANT to know. There not the hoity-toity expensive ones either, I think. They just carry me away.

As far as natural scents, I absolutely love the smell of honeysuckle.

And after 13 years of not smoking, the smell of a freshly lit Marlboro still makes my mouth water.

Petrol mixed with 2-stroke oil, then burned in a fierce little 50cc engine does it for me.
I guess it reminds me of riding around on mopeds in my teenage years.

So now we understand why men spend so much time in the garage…
We waste all this money buying perfume and really all they want is for us to dab on a little gas and motor oil!

tosses out her cherry almond body wash, honeysuckle shampoo and bottled fragrance - runs out to the discount auto store for re-inforcements
Actually I like a lot of smells that don’t turn me on, too. Permanent markers, new clothes, fresh-cut grass, spring mornings, I could go on and on…
Ever notice how a certain smell brings back a memory? And you can’t even put your finger on why?

Frying Bacon, Fresh brewed coffee, Hot Doughnuts, New mown Grass…new banknotes!!!

My fingers.

Kittens smell great. I also like the smell of a screen door. But this recipe is just awesome:

Cinnamon sticks
Cloves
Orange slices

Boil them in water. It rocks. Truly rocks.

Another bleach vote.

Partly thisd is because one of my early boyfriends was a lifeguard. He’d come home smelling faintly of chlorine. sigh

God, I hate that musty metallic screen smell, Kalhoun! You must be mad!

Not that it’s a turn-on, but I like the smell of puppy breath. Not dog, just puppy.

Cutting oil. There’s probably another name for it, but that’s what my husband always called it, when he cut pipe.

I love that smell. Definitely turns me on.

I also love (from a distance…no huffin’ going on here!) the smell of paint that is used to paint signs, or cars. My dad had his sign-painting shop in our basement, back in the sixties, and the scent wafted through the house.

To this day, I can smell that paint smell and simply sigh out loud. It’s not really a turn on, but I dearly love it.

Another vote for fresh basil. I just bought a plant last weekend, and every time I pass it I run my fingers through it. Big turn-on.

I’m not really sure but… cuz I didn’t “Just say no.” And I don’t mean the stuff you sniff up your nose…

TMI maybe…

The way someone smells just after making love. (their normal scent of soap and body plus a sort of sweet sweaty smell). OOOOH…YUM!!!

Not so much a sexual turn-on, but I love the smell of winter.

Step outside on the first cold night of the year (Could be October, doesn’t have ot be in winter per se), and you can smell winter in the air. I used to think I was smelling fresh snow, 'til I smelled it one night with nary a snowflake to be found.
