Strange celebrity crushes?

The lead actress from Gilmore Girls… don’t know her name… and don’t really want to. It’s purely a perve-fest. She’s witty (or at least the lines that are written for her are…) tall, brunette, and stunning!!

In the early 1980’s, a jazz radio station here broadcasted OTR shows at night. I must have been the only preteen in the entire state at that time who was nursing an active crush on Dennis Day.

I still think he’s pretty cute.

Sorry, just realised I was asked for a ‘STRANGE’ celebrity.
Was it ‘strange’ that I didn’t even know the name of the person I would hop into bed with in a second??? Where are my morals and values?

Anyway,

That’s easy… Alan Alda! Only as his 'MAS*H character. He definetly does it for me. And I’ve felt this way since I was 12.

My obvious crushes (narrowed down to a few, so we don’t have to be here all day):
Jennifer Connelly
Rose McGowan
Dita Von Teese

My not-so-obvious crushes:
Janeane Garofalo
Tina Fey
Fran Drescher

I’ll see your Jeff Corwin and raise you a Rufus Wainwright. And I fully acknowledge that Ben Stiller looks exactly like Mr. Peepers, but he (BS) is still hot, whereas MP is not.

Steve Martin looked pretty good in Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid.

Wow. And I was to start a thread on my strange obsessions.

For odd crushes, no one can beat me. I like strange men.

David Herman. You know, Michael Bolton from Office Space.

Michael Hitchcock. From the Christopher Guest mockumentaries.

Robert Musgrave from Bottle Rocket.

Yup. There’s more where that came from. Sure, I like normal guys too–John Cusack, Luke Wilson, Sean Biggerstaff (Oliver Wood from the Harry Potter flicks)–but I like to keep these ones secret. I’ll post more when I think of others.

And I’m inexplicably attracted to Robyn Hitchcock on the cover of Invisible Hitchcock. I don’t think he’s otherwise very attractive, I enjoy only his music. But wow.

Bump because I like this topic and want to add Lou Barlow of Sebadoh/Dinosaur Jr/Folk Implosion/Sentridoh fame.

John Belushi
Roger Waters
Rob Schnyder
and, the most recent addition, Frank Zappa.

I would so do Frank Zappa–if he wasn’t dead.

Dammit, I knew there was another one–Bradley Whitford, who plays Josh Lyman on The West Wing. I’d do him, too.

Fairuza Balk…she is strange, but she’d work.

I don’t know if this qualifies as a celebrity, but it certainly is strange:

The guy from the Verizon commercials. “Can you hear me now?.. Good.”

Holy crap, buffalogal! Me too!

Everytime people complain about the “stupid Verizon commercials,” I get a little sad.

I’m shocked. I thought it was just me. It just goes to show you’re never alone.

There’s already an Alan Rickman fan club here, but I just love him. It’s the accent.

Patrick Stewart has a different sexy accent, that whole Royal Shakespeare thing. I’m not a Trekkie, but…

Three strange ones:
Helen Mirren: I can’t watch any of her movies anymore. She’s beautiful*. I never thought much of her until Hussy, but after that, it was all over.

Natalie Merchant: She’s more cute than beautiful, but I still just dig her. Although I kind of doubt she plays on my team these days. . .

Angelina Jolie: I’m turned on by older women, not younger, but there’s just something about someone who’s so blatantly “Little Girl Lost” that just brings out the total sap in me.

And maybe Jeanine Garafolo.

And Vanessa Redgrave.

Janeane Garofalo. I’m taken, but you know she’d be fun to hang out with. Also Dame Judi Dench. It’s not really a sexual thing, though she was apparently quite the looker when she was young. She remains the perfect Shakespearean actress.

My first big one was for ** Elle Macpherson, ** since then it’s been **Elizabeth Hurley, Rachel Stevens ** to name a few.

John Malkovich - especially in Dangerous Liaisons- MMMmmMMMM

Ed Harris - in full uniform in The Rock - YuuuUUUUUMMMMMMMY

Christopher Meloni - Law and Order:SVU - How YOU doin?

drool

I’ve had a few. My “weird” ones have all been older.

Patrick Stewart,
Sean Connery,

And for a while, Charlton Heston, but only for his voice. Something about his voice…

I’ve noticed that both Stewart and Connery have accents, so maybe that is what does it for me?

Oh, and I would marry Judy Dench. I love her!

Otherwise, I am generally not attracted to older people, I find the fact that I even found a few strikes me as odd, with me being 20.

I second you here, Connery young does absolutely nothing for me.
