Strange Tower name in York

Whilst walking the city walls in York recently i came across an unusually named tower. It was called Bitchdaughter’s Tower. I am now aflame with curiosity to find the story behind this name, but have so far drawn a blank.

Does anybody know the history behind this name?

Apparently not.
I Googled it and only one hit came up. It’s a personal website with captioned photos and part of one caption is "This tower we are standing on was called the Bitchdaughter’s tower - but they are not sure why. "

Here’s a link:

There’s also a .pdf that shows up if you search a little differently, but no explanation.
