Capcom has hinted that a Wii version may be in Street Fighter IV’s future and with their new committment to multiplatform games, I would bet good money it’ll come to the Wii by the end of the year.
SWEEEET! It looks awesome. I haven’t played a game in the series past Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo. (I know, I’m missing out on a lot, but fighting games got a little to complicated for me ever keep up with other players).
Thanks PopeJewish!
:dubious: <—that’s not dubious, in this case. It’s me raising my eyebrow in interest.
If my old ass system meets the requirements, I might just have to get this, if only for the presumed online play.
Gamespot and several other wesbites have it listed as a June release for PC but other sites still have it as TBA 2009, so I don’t know.
As for online play… well, it’s present on the 360 and PS3 versions, I don’t imagine they’d take it out of the PC version. That’d just be silly of them
I just checked Capcom’s official press site, and it lists the PC release date as “To Be Announced”. But blog posts on the Capcom-Unity site have always said that the PC release would follow the PS3/Xbox 360 release by “a few months”, so June would be right in line with that.
The clear solution hre is to unlock Cammy. I can’t imagine what kind of tasteless buffooon would pick Chun-Li over Cammy.

So, just so I understand…
The Rufus character is basically a fat, American Otaku Japanophile nerd, right?
I’ve been to a couple of tournaments already, even though I don’t own the game. From what I’ve seen and from who I’ve talked to it seems Ryu or Sagat are the clear front runners. I almost went to the GameSpot nationals with Zangief (lost to Sagat and fbs from hell, hmmm…same as in Turbo). Focus attack sets up sick combos, particularly ultimates, which is why Ryu is so sick. Rufus appears to be a Ken killer (data on this is limited to SoCal scene). Ryu can repeatedly knock down Rufus so doesn’t need to rely on fb-trap, which is how Rufus beats Ken.
I really think I’m one of the best Guile players online right now. That may be because virutally no one uses him though. I can tear through shotos 99% of the time no matter how good they are. The only time I have a tough time is if they start off jumping backwards, then I lose the initiative.
Surprisingly, Balrog is the most challenging char for me to fight against because his moves all take priority over the flash kick so it makes it real tough to close in on him.
