Stuff you can't wait to come out on DVD

The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr.
Animaniacs
Sol Bianca and Sol Bianca 2

Which Batman were you looking for? I have one DVD of some episodes of Batman: The Animated Series, so I know it’s out there somewhere.

Bah nevermind I am blind, you are looking for the original live Batman series. I am also looking forward to The Tick on DVD!

Remember WENN - great show. but the audience was so small, I don’t think it has a chance of ever getting on DVD.

Gargoyles, Season 2.

Dammit, where’s the Larry Sander’s DVDs? First season came out, like, 4 years ago! And there’d better be some damn commentary on Season 2!

Ditto “Oh! What A Lovely War!,” Richard Attenborough’s anti-war statement. Nearly all the lead actors are dead now, so set Dickie down (with Tony Hopkins!) and get his reminices while you can, then release the damn thing already!

Oh, and Fridays, with the pre-Seinfeld Kramer. We cracked up, watching him walk around on the beach in those long black socks playing soldier.

Also, The Maxx

Bugsy Malone

Paradise

I would kill for a DVD collection of the short-lived Sam and Max: Freelance Police cartoon series. And it’s gotta be the complete collection – I have most of the stuff on videotape, except for the aired-only-once-and-then-yanked-forever Thanksgiving episode.

And I’m definitely jumping the gun, but I’m dead certain to get Pixar’s Cars on DVD when that comes out.

Actually season 2 is out as well. I saw it last week.

I would love WKRP in Cincinnati on DVD.

Well if it’s any consolation, according to amazon.ca there is a planned release for Newsradio…in 2010.

The Real Ghostbusters, Beetlejuice, and The Adventures of Brisco County Jr.

Seconded. Also seconding the Rocko’s Modern Life suggestion. Wouldn’t mind seeing Doug either. Or Salute Your Shorts.

In other news, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead (3/22) and Roseanne (sometime in '05) are the only dvds I’m really awaiting.

Public Enemy with James Cagney

A big same here to that, but…I’ve read on other sites (sorry, but I don’t have time to find the URLs again, have to take off for a meeting after I post this) that it’s unlikely to ever happen because there are too many issues and costs revolving around licensing all the music that was used on the show for DVD use.

My other big want for a TV series on DVD is definitely Max Headroom.

All seasons of Pinky and the Brain!

I’m still waiting for the tv show “Undeclared” to be released, myself.

Season 2 of Carnivale. I didn’t get through the Season 1 DVD set in time for the start of Season 2’s first run.

Lost, just because I missed the first three weeks, then decided to skip the rest until it came out on DVD.

I would like to see Get Smart. There is an online petition to get the show released on DVD.
