Stump me with your avatarl

Yeah, I did see two or three personalized ones that people were using, and if anybody else posting here that has one of those I’ll probably just say “personalized one that you took yourself?”.

I would not have guessed that for you though, that looks like a still from a movie or a show.

WRONG! It’s a self-portrait! ::does a victory dance while thumbing his nose::

Go for it!

No idea, obviously a cartoon, probably a recent one…. One cartoon it does remind me of is one character from Josie and the pussycats, the person who played the manager. But I know it’s not him, because the animated photo would look a lot more retro. So, no idea.

Take a stab at it.

Mine shouldn’t be hard to guess.
Brian

You’re right about it being a recent cartoon character, but wrong about the cartoon.

It’s a character named Vinnie Dakota, who’s half of a bumbling time-traveling duo from the future on “Milo Murphy’s Law,” a show by the same folks who do “Phineas and Ferb.” He and his partner Cavendish decided to dress like they were from the Seventies to blend in, but Vinnie picked the 1970s and Cavendish (in a steampunk suit getup) picked the 1870s. Vinnie is laid-back and lazy (but the smarter of the two) and Cavendish is an uptight, prissy Brit. They’re the best part of the show IMO.

Here’s mine which is a display of a number, which is part of my username. (Also happens to be my birthday.)

But the number itself is part of a larger picture, which is also related to my username. Care to take a stab at what that picture might be?

Mine should be fairly obvious.

Probably can’t guess the title, might guess exactly what it’s of.

Is it Pancho Villa?

Wallace? I know it’s either Wallace or Grommit and I think Grommit is the dog

Yours is one I’ve seen in the last couple days and thought to myself “if this person replies to this thread, that’s easy, it’s the number 13”.

That’s the only answer I prepared for. I have no idea where it could have come from…I don’t recognize the font, so I can’t tell you where it’s from.

It’s a submarine.

I suspect the answer is much more specific than that though, but I couldn’t tell you how. I don’t know the relevance behind it other than “it’s a submarine with people on it”.

No idea, but it looks a lot like the bubble that encased Superman’s home on Krypton…which was blue to begin with but then turned red as their sun got closer. This would be from the 1978 movie.

Correct, Wallace of Wallace & Gromit. Gromit is the dog.

Brian
“Cheese Gromit!”

Not even close, sorry.

It’s an artist’s rendition of a planet orbiting a star in intergalactic space; the white blobs in the upper left are distant galaxies. The title is Total Outcast.

It’s from a picture of an old railroad steam locomotive, Number 13. Railer13.

A 688-class submarine, conducting a swim call.

Closer to Speedy Gonzales than Pancho. :joy:

It’s taken from a painting in a museum in San Antonio of outlaw banditos. I’m the guy on the right along side my sidekick.
