I remember the exchange, but I have to admit I didn’t remember it was with you. Bonsai are still doing one or two reunion shows a year, and new CDs when they get enough material. And The Bottom Line has closed since that show, hasn’t it?

It has indeed, which is quite sad. It was a wonderful venue for some of the best music of many genres.

Just checked the Bonsai site and unfortunately neither of the listed shows are near me.

And while I’m posting I’ll add one more clue to my referrence.

Hint: there was a doper a few years ago who had an extended quote from this movie as his/her sig.

Hint2: bizarre 70s movie. The lead was played by an actor who also played a recurring role on M.A.S.H.
