This is not a story about a burglar leaving footprints in the snow. Nor is it about a bank robber leaving his ID behind. No–this is a truly inspired level of stupidity.
A Denver County deputy sheriff was arrested for child porn. Now that, in and of itself, would be relatively unremarkable. However–
OK, I am not on twitter, but I presume when you post there it records who you are and all other good stuff about you, which I agree makes him an idiot (along with being a reprehensible human sack of excrement).
But given the abilities of this group, I bet we can find someone stupider.

A daughter of a friend of mine married a slightly weird guy. OK; she was kinda weird too. Anyhow, he later applied for a job as a police dispatcher. Which screening process included a polygraph test. At the end there was one last question: “Do you want to tell us anything else?” Him: “Actually there is. I have a ginormous child porn collection on my PC at home.”
The rest is history as they say. He completed his 10 year sentence last year. And promptly got a sex change after rejoining society. People is weird.
