When Islam started being the most sacred thing to liberals is when I stopped identifying as one. Although all my viewpoints are typically liberal this one baffles me to no end.

No, you constantly mischaracterize, misattribute, and otherwise get wrong what real world liberals do. Hint – nuance is involved. The real world is complicated. Trying to sum up complicated things in a couple of sentences is usually going to be wrong, and you do this constantly.
