Stupid liberal idea of the day

And the government, using our money, should pay for this why, exactly?

I was more than happy to pay for your family’s welfare, you can pay to have my bunny rubbed.

By the way, my share of the study was 12/100th of a cent.

You should get upset at real waste, not this penny ante shit.

Given the euthanization and dissection, shall we take nominations for the human study?

Yeah, I can’t think of anyone that might be interested in treating human muscle aches and injuries.
Nope the military wouldn’t be interested in that at all.

CMC fnord!

Sorry, I never took any welfare.

Wait a minute. So they rubbed the bunnies’ feet, and then killed them? Wow, that makes it better.

Does Coburn not realize that human studies cost lots, lots more? And they have the potential for long term harm to the subjects?

Does he think that Pharmaceutical companies just say ‘screw the white mice, where going to human trials as soon as the first pill is formed!’?

Hey, they didn’t complain anymore did they?

Bullshit. You got plenty of crap for free that was paid by the taxes of others

In answer to your question, I do pay taxes and I focus on the stuff that matters.
Like this.

I don’t know that it should; but for fuck’s sake dude, if you want to discuss it then discuss it for what it is. Don’t just say that they were massaging bunnies’ feet as if that’s the whole story.

According to your own link, the bill didn’t pass. Unless you have another link, Grandpa?

Read the whole thing. I’m sorry I don’t have a version geared to a first grade reading level but them’s the breaks.

Here, I’ll spoon-feed it to you.

You’re an idiot. A cookie hoarding idiot.

It’s not my fault the SDMB is infested with people who can’t think for themselves.

The Kass article doesn’t require any registration, or payment.

FWIW I get

I go the same thing. When I clicked the ‘no’ option the pop-up it threw me to the main page of the paper.

The Kentucky Democratic Party has earned this morning’s award for cluelessness.

In a local race for representative in District 23 in Kentucky’s House of Representatives, the Democratic Party wanted to highlight the Republican challenger’s prior arrest for DUI. Fair game so far.

But in a political mailer paid for by the state Democratic Party, the Republican challenger’s full arrest report was duplicated including his personally identifiable information including his address and social security number. Uh, hello!? Anyone ever heard of identity theft?

You can make the point about the guy’s arrest history by releasing the guy’s mugshot. Mailing his social security number and personal details to a thousand or more people doesn’t add anything to the narrative.

When asked about the release, the Democratic Party response left much to be desired.

Jobe agrees that by entering politics his personal history is subject to scrutiny. But the Democratic party’s clueless response has allowed Jobe to control the conversation.
