Stupid liberal idea of the day

And the Big Tard Lecture Series continues.

So worthless he had to say it twice.

Do you tell your buddies that their posts are useless when they use the same exact words?

Didn’t think so.

My buddies don’t forget within minutes what they posted.

Yeah, no one has ever made a duplicate post on this message board, usually because of the crappy software here.

Go away, it’s past your bedtime.

Sure, blame something other than yourself.

Eight minutes apart. Are you claiming the board kept your post in limbo that long or did you forget you posted the first one?

Like I said, it’s well past your bedtime.

So, brush your teeth, get into your jammies, and get ready, Uncle D’Anconia will come and read to you from Atlas Shrugged. You’ll be screaming in no time!

Uncle D’Anconia will not be happy. I don’t wear jammies. Or anything else.

Brain Bleach Needed!!!1

Wouldn’t be the first thing you needed bleached out of your brain…

“When my age, you reach… Look as good, you will not.”

I did see some minor sniping about Melania wearing inappropriate footwear to a disaster area but it was nothing more than that. Most of the outrage has to do with Trump going on and on about how “exciting” the hurricane was and how it was the biggest one ever and how big the crowds were that came out to see him and all the other ways in which he made a natural disaster which killed several people and caused millions in damage all about him.

C’mon, Clothahump, this is ludicrous. You were in the freaking middle of the disaster, genuinely concerned that you would lose your home and livelihood, and yet here you are rushing to the defense of a man whose only reaction to the hurricane is how cool it was and how good it would make him look. That’s really rather sad no matter what your political persuasion.

But here - let me cheer you up by posting a link to Nancy Pelosi’s recent epic metaphor mangling. I know you love that sort of thing. Enjoy.

Personally, I think it’s a bad idea for a president, any president, to tour a disaster area, especially in an ongoing crisis. His presence is a distraction and diversion of resources, when he should be in Washington, pressuring legislatures to approve relief funding and signing the legislation as it crosses his desk.

The first lady’s shoes, though… those were worth a brief chuckle.

Actually, it’s indicative of a more alarming trend. Twitter threads are making headlines because news sites want to attract more shallow and vacuous audiences. It’s like they have 15-year olds in their employ who get to decide what clickbait will get the most attention because they’re more social media savvy. It’s far worse than a liberal thing. It means stupid is the new smart.

It means stupid people tend towards spending their money unwisely. And the love of money is the root of all evil. At high tide.

There’s no flooding or even rain in Corpus Christi, where he actually went. What he visited was another campaign rally.

This is true, although the storm is still well and truly in progress, so if he went to Galveston or Houston or one of the other heavily-hit areas, he probably would have been criticized for getting in the way during an emergency.

It’s worse.

CityPages has a disturbing trend recently of an entire article simply being someone’s Facebook comment. No commentary, no explanation - just copy-paste-publish…not even a “by your leave” to the original author.

Fake news, indeed.

CNN busted for faking a story that one of their reporters pulled off an “heroic” rescue.
