I am not one to get irrational over trivial things very often. But when I do, I have found a way to rant about them in the worst way. TODAY’S RANTING:
The Aquafina commercial with Kelly Ripa…yeah, you know “Pure nothing and more!” We’re talking about water here! If Aquafina’s selling point is that water has nothing in it, why go further and say “…and more!”? Ok, I’m done now
I don’t like her in that commercial
I think water could sell itself, IMHO.
THe other thing is…she talks about drinking this great water as if it’s a sensual experience or something
I think that particular commercial (the one that mentions “and more!”) isn’t just pure water. It’s the Aquafina that has stuff put in.
By stuff, I mean vitamins or antioxidants, some crap such as that. I haven’t seen it in the stores myself, or paid close enough attention to the commercials to remember what.
There we go: Their website’s front page is a display for Aquafina Essentials. It looks like they have four different kinds with different stuff in them.
Yeah, I’m pretty sure she’s in a commercial for flavored water.
However, who wants watermelon flavored water? Dude, they aren’t Jolly Ranchers!
