Yeah, I realise how close it came. I wasn’t wishing death on anyone. You can get creamed by a car and survive, I did. And have seen others too. One girl went a good 15-20 ft from where she was hit and landed in a pile of crushed bones in the middle of the street. Still see her around from time to time. Seeing that, and having it happen to you will wake your shit right up and make you realize there is no excuse for running red lights. None.

Exactly. That’s probably why no one in this thread has tried to excuse it. If you had the reading comprehension of a third grader, you’d realize that from the mulitple posts saying just that. In plain english. Again and again. Sometimes in caps, even.

Where was I weaseling? I don’t really care if I get in trouble here. I don’t visit often enough. I’ll follow the rules during my stay though. I thought long and hard after writing that and decided you could take it whichever way you like. As long as I know which way it was ment to be said, I’m happy.
Yeah I’m arguing from an emotional standpoint. Not 100 percent though. Until you’ve had your life almost taken by an automobile I guess it’s hard to see how important it is, and why it’s such a big deal. If I were to murder someone by my own negligence I don’t think I could live with myself, and if they didn’t take my license away, I probably would stop driving all together anyway. It’s not something to shake a stick at and say “Well, you’re feeling bad about it so you can go on like nothing happened.”
