ok, so i am off to my gazillionth dave matthews concert tomorrow, and as a relatively new girl around these parts, i was wondering what concerts you guys are going to this summer? any past favorites? i personally can never pass off a good phish show, but i just saw the “up in smoke tour” with snoop. eminem and dr dre which was awesome!
We’ve been having some awesome concerts here the last few months. Sugar Ray came, and so did Fastball, Lit, Everclear, The Flys, Jimmy’s Chicken Shack, and Dave Wakeling. The Foo Fighters are coming in soon, too. I saw all but Fastball and Sugar Ray. Lit is AWESOME live. They really talk to the fans well.

Satan, it took me a full year before I started paying for concerts, and that was out of sheer despiration.
I boogied to Ozomotli, am taking me Da to Bob Dylan this Sunday (he’s giddy), and Guster and Tragically Hip are the weekend after that. Yahooie!
Live/Counting Crows the end of August, baby!
Saw Dave Matthews last night. KICK ASS show, and I had 5th row seats. Great show, even if I did get soaking wet.

It will be my third time seeing the Crows. Amazing musicians, and they put on a great show.
Doing a Jimmy Buffett concert/camping trip this weekend. Woo Hoo!!
I did five Phish shows and one Bob Dylan/Phil Lesh show last week. I’m currently writing about the trip–I’ll post the link here when I get around to putting it on the Net.

Went to The Beach Boys last summer. They were great, really know how to put on a show. They did at least one verse and the chorus from every one of their songs. :)
And I’m going to see Savage Garden at the end of August, I can’t wait!!! :)
The best dang concert I have been to in a long while!
Steely Dan will be here soon, I’m looking forward to that. 
I currently have tickets for Dave Matthews Band on Aug 2, Sting on Aug 4, and Dido on Aug 10.

I just saw Jimmy Buffett in St Louis on Tuesday. Wow. It just isn’t summer till I get my Buffett fix. Lucretia, you’ll love it. Clint Black has been popping up at some of his concerts. Was at St. Louis. Played guitar for him and sang some. Not too bad. The severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings we sat through at the ampatheater were well worth it. Nothing quite like parrothead madness!!!
