I got a bit of a scare at work today when my boss said she wanted to do something with me in another room. At first I thought she wanted to say something negative to me about my job performance or something. But no, it turned out that it wasn’t about me. She just wanted us to work on a work project together.
Other than my having this lingering cold, it’s been a decent day.

Howdy Y’all! I did a geezer thang today. OYKW and I went to the early senior citizen special at The Golden [del]Hog Trough[/del] Corral. Yep we did! I told 'em two senior citizen discounts and got ‘em. OYKW is not technically a restaurant type sc yet as he won’t be the big 60 until January so I fibbed a little bit. Now I’m at da cave and he went back to his orifice. He’s got a (I think) medicaid audit comin’ up in two weeks, poor thing.

Bragging time!! My sweetie just finished adding the new fairing with the new artwork. A stereo and speakers will be installed on this side. Now all we need to do is find a parrot! We’re going to try Pier 1 tomorrow. 
I be a groggy bear. Up so early that I left the house before the newspaper delivery guy comes around, all in the name of attending a meeting with participants on two continents.
Amazingly, it was not early enough to beat the traffic. There are still enough cars on the freeway at 5:00 to create a traffic jelly. By 6:00, it’s a full-on marmelade. At least I think that’s thicker than a jam.

Rosie I can see orange/yellow indoor/outdoor shag carpet on the terrace. Or am I havin’ a flashback to Carol Brady’s livin’ room again. 
Feelin’ kinda ick. I just talked to OYKW and he says he feels ok so I’m guessin’ it’s not what I et. Maybe it’s a case of the vapors. Or stoopid sinuses.
I know FCM I am worried something will go wrong. Everything should be in order but you never know.

I’m going to pack tomorrow for the weekend. If it doesn’t fit into the tote bag I’m not taking it. I still have the plastic bags from the hospital so I can take one of those for the dirty clothes.

But a stereo and loudspeakers? We used to have cassette players strapped to the seat with bungie cords and headphones. 
**flytrap **- he’s been using his iPod and earbuds, but a stereo is definitely safer. Once we finish the deal with selling the aquarium stuff, he’ll take part of the proceeds and get the system he wants.
