It’s just too darned cold out here today, so in between Christmas shopping, planning for Halloween, and weatherproofing the garden, I have started to try to come up with ideas for our Family Vacation next year. At the moment, we are figuring on a week in summer (July or August), and we want to keep it down to road trips. It will probably center around Toronto. So. There’s Canada’s Wonderland, the Toronto Zoo, and… what else is good, folks?
Background:
We are (almost) in Windsor, which is four hours from T.O., and 10 minutes from Detroit, MI.
Expo (in Toronto) is out, as that trip is the Grandparents’ domain.
The kiddies (both girls) will be 11 and 13 next summer.
Any suggestions would be gratefully accepted, as would hearing about your vacation experiences from this past summer.
