Sunday Morning Puzzle # 12

This week’s puzzle is, yet again, a list of movie titles with something in common. The titles have been encoded in a progressive high/low (up and down) manner based on this shared trait. In order to make the somewhat tedious de-coding easier; the common theme has not been encoded.

It should help to see the alphabet as circular.

To further complicate things, each entry 1-12 contains an extra encoded word that is not part of the movie’s title. These 12 extra encoded words when de-coded and read in order will reward the solver with a quote from filmmaker Woody Allen. He would make a fine puzzle constructor.

I thought this puzzle would finally be the one that would be too difficult for you to solve. But I was wrong. I tip my hat to you. Big time.

Have you considered a job with the CIA as chief cryptographer?

Or better still, have you ever considered writing puzzles? I’d look forward to the challenge!
