Does anyone know what kind of car Norma Desmond owns? When Gillis is describing it, it sounded like he said it was a 1932 “Asatta Freschetti”. I have searched for this with various spelling variations and I’m not coming up with anything.
Doh! I went back to searching and found it.
It’s an Isotta-Fraschini touring car (“upholstered in leopard skin, and had one of those car phones, all gold-plated”).
