It turns out that during the halftime show, the way they got all those bushes onto the field is that they dressed a bunch of people like bushes and they jogged out there.

My Intro to Judaism class on Zoom started at 7 tonight. Usually, the rabbi of our local temple hosts the class.
Tonight, his wife is filling in because he’s at a Super Bowl party. Week before last, he was still wearing his Seahawks beanie when the class started and he had to quickly swap it out for his kippah.

Congrats to the Seahawks! The better team won easily, as I suspected would be the case. Despite the loss, it’s been a very fun and (of course) surprising season for the Pats, who I am thrilled are back in contention and - crucially - entertaining to watch again.
And I gotta say I’m really happy for Sam Darnold. Dude had a ROUGH start to his career (as does every Jets QB), but he slogged on, busted out in Minnesota, who then foolishly let him walk after a 14 win season. So he goes to Seattle and wins it all. Good thing the Vikings GM is gone already or someone probably would have thrown him out a window after tonight.
That defense is extremely good, if they tighten up the offensive line they can probably dominate. Maye did some good things but was harassed too much to have a real chance. He’s a legit franchise QB though, and young, which is almost impossible to find.
If they hadn’t called it back it would’ve cost me $25. I had Seattle 9-NE 3 on the squares.
