Oh, her. Seattle fans might be booing the owner of the team, because it’s believed that she is putting the team up for sale.
Exactly why.
She has no choice though. She is not the owner, just the administrator of the estate that owns the team. The terms of Paul Allen’s estate said that they had to sell his holdings, including both the Trailblazers and the Seahawks, within 10 years of his death. It’s been more than eight so a sale is imminent.
The current rumors of who might buy are Steve Ballmer and… Jody Allen.
They weren’t booing her though anyhow. Cooper Kupp was on screen in the stadium.
She was talking when Kupp was on screen.
ETA: Here is a video on this page:
They are yelling “COOOOOOP” as Cooper is on screen with his kid. It was while Jody was being asked a question.
After the show, his representative confirmed that the couple had actually been married during the show. The unnamed husband and wife had invited Bad Bunny to their wedding, but he said they should instead be part of his halftime show.
The artist served as a witness and signed their marriage certificate. There was a real cake too.
While the concert was rife with symbolism and statement — this happens to not be true. A publicist for Bad Bunny told NPR Music that the little boy on stage was not Liam Conejo Ramos. A representative for the Conejo Ramos family also confirmed to Minnesota Public Radio that it was not the young boy.
I thought I saw hands in one of the sugar cane bunches they showed a few times just before the show started, so I kept waiting for the sugar cane to start dancing.
I’m not a big fan of halftime shows but enjoyed this one immensely.
As for Sleeper Hold LX, I was pleased Seattle won, but 15 points of field goals? Yawn. The defences were too mismatched to call it a defensive battle, but a few long yard completions would have been nice.
Same here!
There’s someone on Reddit whose friend was (supposedly) of of the grass clumps. It was done that way as it was the easiest way to get all the sugarcane and grass onto the field, and it’s how they managed to keep rearranging the ‘maze’ so they could do as much as possible in long shots.
Oh! Well that’s pretty cool too then. ![]()
Certainly true.
Before the game I went out to watch the flyover and got these shots and videos (imgur link below). It was my first time seeing a B-1B IRL, ever. It was pretty cool.

I thought the Seahawks would likely win but I was really pulling for the Patriots to upset them. The Seahawks defense was stifling, certainly, but I place the blame squarely on the shoulders of Drake Maye. I’m probably being too hard on him but IMO, he screwed the pooch royally in this game. If he played perfectly, they had a chance to win it.
Drake Maye had absolutely no pocket awareness. I’m a 49er fan and he reminded me today of Jimmy Garopolo, failing to sense the pocket collapsing and unnecessarily eating sacks instead of throwing the ball away. He missed wide open receivers several times today.
For a kicker to be MVP, I think he’d have to make something like four or more FGs from 55+ yard range and the game would have to be really tight, maybe decided by some 59-yard game winner as time expires. While the Seahawks kicker was solid tonight, none of his FGs were difficult.
Likely so; either several long field goals, and/or clutch kicks.
Indeed; in this era, a kicker needs to be 90+% accurate on kicks inside of 40-45 yards. He did his job well, but there was nothing necessarily extraordinary about his night, other than the number of field goals he was called on to kick.
I’m glad you enjoyed it, but, not me. I didn’t care for it.
I just didn’t understand it. Was there supposed to be a message other than images of latin culture? Not a big fan of much latin music and don’t speak Spanish. Would have appreciated subtitles.
No, you’re not being too hard on him at all. He was in over his head, and he looked like a deer looking into the headlights of an oncoming car. He was SEATTLE’S most valuable player. LOL
LOL, yeah.
I’m still focusing on the flyover. My favorite part of this game! LOL. I put this together.
The Super Bowl LX flyover
► 7 in tight formation.
► The lone plane out of this picture was the other USAF B-1B Lancer from Ellsworth AFB, SD (not my pic, BTW).
Again, I took this video from Alviso Marina County Park, 1.9 miles northwest of the stadium, at this spot (DD coordinates) ▲ 37.42903, -121.98077
Nice! What was the purpose of the lone plane? I’m assuming it symbolized something.
Good question. I’m not sure why, actually, but my guess is that the formation looked better, to my untrained eye anyway (I was artillery, not air wing), with just the one B-1B at the point position.
