What would have happened if the ball would have gone all the way through the endzone? Would it still have been a safety or something else?
I think few people would have expected that Denver and Manning would have run only four offensive plays in nearly the entire first quarter.
Still a safety. The defense has to cleanly recover in the end zone for it to be a touchdown.
I understand Fox trying to break some momentum with the challenge, but I’m pretty sure that was a bad challenge.
Still a safety. If the offensive team loses the ball through the back of their own end zone, it’s a safety.
If it’s a + in front, a bet of 100 wins you that much (so at +4000, you’d get paid back $4100, your original $100 wager plus $4000 of winnings). If it’s a -, you have to bet that much to win $100.
Well, the sample size would be all NFL games, not all Super Bowls; where’s Bill Barnwell where you need him? Either way, good on anyone who put down a few bucks on that one.
If I read this right, odds were 40:1.
+4000 means that’s how much you’d win on a wager of $100. So, 40:1 odds.
And that both coaches would have lost time outs to failed challenges in the first quarter.
Seattle had scored the first three times of the game and Denver is only down one score.
Except it wasn’t “first score” prop bet, but “first play.”
Again, it might have been a faked tweet. I don’t know if you could really find million-to-one odds for that or not.
And cold-weather Peyton seems to have made his appearance.
That Radio Shack ad was a hoot. Mary Lou Retton!
It’s not cold.
I was not expecting kidnplay.
One of those ducks Sherman mentioned.
End of the first quarter, and has Denver even got two minutes of possession yet?
Kinda feels like if the Seahawks only come away with 3 points here, they can win. Not literally true of course, but teams that dominate everywhere but the scoreboard always seem to pay.
