Looks like they have enough lights to play, imho. But what do I know?
Is this a Katrina tribute?
Got to give your post its props. Loved Dandy Don on MNF.
I guess God has decided this has gone on long enough, since He turned off the lights so everyone would go home.
ETA: Beaten by a better quip by Suburban Plankton.
So is there a rule about this? What happens if they can’t fix the lights?
Best tweet I seen
Why couldn’t the power have gone out during the halftime show?
Has there been a Superbowl before that’s lost power? Crazy times.
Well, this isn’t the first time the Niners have had a long-term power outage.
I think the Saints have to forfeit their first home game next season.
Winner!
I would point out that this is the best chance Ray Lewis will get to get in just one last stabbing.
Second best one…
“The 49ers have stepped up, they have not allowed the Ravens to score in 10 minutes”
Thanks I snorted and made people look at me funny
The bigger question here:
What happens if CBS runs out of commercials?
Well, *force majeure *was about the one thing that could stop things continuing to get worse, but this forced recess is likely to lead to yet more ugly play.
After 30 minutes they have to turn on the sprinklers.
While we’re stopped, did nobody notice the gigantic hold on that big return? Two Ravens were making out with Brice Miller.
Worse - they bring Beyonce back out.
Marblemouth is saying this delay is fortunate for the 49ers because of momentum, but I’d have to say the team ahead gets a bigger benefit from having a rested defense which is the most significant factor in a comeback. But I guess you can argue that it also allows the losing team’s defense to recharge and force more 3 and outs.
Edit: Which reminds me, I’d like to point out that Shannon Sharpe has, for years, held a job where his main purpose is talking.
